Learn About Law Enforcement at ‘Police Citizens Academy’ Starting March 20

The Police Citizens Academy is a 12-week session offered free to residents of SeaTac, to help educate the public about the police department and to increase understanding between citizens and police.

The program is free for anyone who lives or works in the cities of SeaTac and Burien, and the next Citizens Academy training will be held on Wednesdays from March 20 – June 12, 6 – 9 p.m. at
SeaTac City Hall (4800 S. 188th Street).

“Graduates of the Citizens Police Academy come away with a much better understanding of the criminal justice system and an appreciation for the many challenges facing Law Enforcement in today’s society,” reads an announcement. “This understanding will help citizens better assist officers. It will also increase the safety in their neighborhoods and community.”
