‘Step up for SeaTac’ at first-ever litter cleanup event Saturday, Sept. 14
The City of SeaTac will be holding its first-ever Litter Cleanup Event on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the SeaTac Community Center.
“Volunteers, individuals, groups and businesses are encouraged to ‘Step up for SeaTac’ and help in this first organized citywide litter cleanup event and be part of enhancing our community,” reads an announcement.
Volunteers will gather at 9 a.m. at the SeaTac Community Center (13735 24th Ave S) for refreshments. They will be assigned to a team, and be issued gloves, bags, and safety vests. Volunteers will be dispatched to areas of the city to clean up and bag trash. The event ends at 11:30 a.m.
