SeaTac man pleads ‘Not Guilty’ to killing bicyclist in Federal Way Aug. 30

Dara Keo, a 30-year-old SeaTac man accused in a collision that killed a bicyclist in Federal Way was arraigned Thursday morning (Sept. 12) and pleaded ‘Not Guilty’ to a charge of Vehicular Homicide.

The defendant was allegedly impaired from drugs and driving recklessly when the car he was driving hit a bicyclist on Aug. 30.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, later died from his injuries.

Keo remains in jail with bail set at $250,000.

A case setting hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25 at the Maleng Regional Justice Center.
