SeaTac resident needed for Kent Fire Department’s Citizen Advisory Committee
On January 1, 2014, the City of SeaTac Fire Department began a contract for services with the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority. Because of this, the Kent Fire Department RFA’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking to add a member from the City of SeaTac area.
The purpose of the CAC is to review, validate, and gather resident input on strategic deployment and planning documents for the RFA and work with the RFA staff to develop recommendations to the RFA Governance Board regarding planning documents for the RFA.
The CAC may also provide additional input, feedback and guidance to the RFA staff and RFA Governance Board on issues critical to developing a strong relationship between the community and the RFA.
The member selected by the Governance Board’s interviewing process shall be appointed for a three (3) calendar year term or until the member’s successor is appointed.
To qualify, the applicant must have been living within the SeaTac city limits for at least two years.
