Mia Gregerson elected as new SeaTac Mayor at special meeting Tuesday

The SeaTac City Council on Tuesday evening (Jan. 7) elected councilmember Mia Gregerson as Mayor for the next two years, and former Mayor Tony Anderson was elected Deputy Mayor.

The 5-2 vote came at a special meeting of the SeaTac Council.

Gregerson has also been appointed a state representative, but says she will remain on the council and will serve in the Legislature, a move that lawyers says is legal.
