A Blood Drive will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Monday, June 9, from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Here’s more info from an announcement:
On Friday (May 30) a 2 year old, at Seattle Children’s received blood during a craniotomy (bone flap temporarily removed from skull to access the brain).
16 Puget Sound Blood Center donors, who gave blood in recent weeks, supported this little girl. As these generous donors were being drawn, they most likely didn’t think their donation would be given to such a young patient, but they gave blood because they knew someone in the coming days, would rely on their life saving gift.
Please consider attending the drive below. We don’t know yet who you will end up helping but someone will reap the rewards of you kindly sparing the time. Thank you.
WHEN: Monday, June 9th 2014, 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm (closed 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm)
