SeaTac Municipal Court Law Week will run from April 27 – May 1

The SeaTac Municipal Court announced the event lineup for the 4th Annual 2015 SeaTac Municipal Court Law Week, set to run April 27-May 1.

This year’s festivities are again free to the public and will present a series of events following the American Bar Association theme “Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law.”

“I look forward to Law Week every year as a great opportunity to meet the citizens of SeaTac and engage our local students while celebrating our nation’s legal heritage,” said Judge Elizabeth Cordi-Bejarano. “This year we celebrate the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta. The principles embodied in Magna Carta are as fundamental to our lives today as they were when they were incorporated in our Nation’s most cherished founding documents, including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Due process, the right to jury trial, and the right to travel are just a few of the freedoms that are attributable to Magna Carta.”
