Volunteers needed to help at USO Northwest Sea-Tac Center at airport

The USO Northwest Sea-Tac Center – located at Sea-Tac Airport – is in need of volunteers to fill both the late night and early morning shifts.

The USO-NW Sea-Tac Center is one of the few USO Centers worldwide that remains open 24/7/365 to support our traveling military members and their families.  In just the first quarter of 2016, the USO-NW Sea-Tac Center has had over 26,000 visitors!

To maintain our 24-hour status, the USO relies heavily on the dedication and commitment of an army of volunteers.  Two shifts that are particularly difficult to fill include the Midnight – 6:00 am and the 6:00 am – noon shifts.  We our need of volunteers to fill these shifts every day of the week.

“With it being difficult to fill these shifts we are risking our ability to maintain our 24-hour status” the USO-NW Sea-Tac Manager said.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the USO.  Without the dedicated help of countless volunteers, the USO would not be able to maintain the level of support that our service members and their families deserve.  As we move towards the summer months, we anticipate the annual increase in travel through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by the military and their families.  We need them, they need us, and we need you!  Will you answer the call?

  • 12 a.m. – 6 a.m.
  • 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.
