An elementary school-aged boy has been transported to a local hospital by King County Medic One after he was found unconscious in the swimming area of Angle Lake Park in SeaTac Thursday afternoon, Aug. 4.
An out-of-area husband and wife pulled the child from the water and began CPR prior to the Kent RFA arriving at approximately 1:10 p.m. The civilian rescuers, one of whom was a nurse, were able to get a pulse back in the patient and care was continued by firefighters and medics.
The patient was conscious when transported.
No details are available about the circumstances leading up to the child being found in the water.
The Kent RFA provides fire and EMS services by contract with the City of SeaTac.
