Volunteers urgently needed for Blood Drive on Monday, Aug. 22

Volunteers are urgently needed for a Blood Drive this coming Monday, Aug. 22, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Fellowship Hall, located at 19030 8th Ave. S. in SeaTac.

Here’s more info:

The blood center is low on 6 out of 8 blood types (please see chart below) and there is a nationwide blood shortage currently so the blood center can’t acquire units from other blood centers to supply our local hospitals.

The blood center asks that you PLEASE spare 45 minutes (or less) of your time to attend this drive to help recoup supplies. This way we will be prepared for the inevitable need for donated blood.

This past Saturday, a 32 year old female at Northwest Hospital experienced complications during the delivery of her baby and needed 18 blood components. Just one example of how your donation can make a life-saving difference.

WHEN: Monday Aug. 22, 2016; 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm (closed 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm)

WHERE: Prince of Peace Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 19030 8th Ave. S. SeaTac WA 98148

INFO: This is a WALK-IN blood drive – no appointment necessary!
