One dead after attempted murder/suicide in SeaTac Saturday night

At around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night (June 24), police responded to a shooting at a house in the 14200 block of 29th Ave S., where they found one man dead with a gunshot wound to the head and another shot with life threatening injuries.

Police were told that the woman who lives at the house had her 29-year old boyfriend over visiting. Her 34-year old ex-boyfriend showed up and confronted the new boyfriend. A shoving match ensued between the two men and the ex-boyfriend pulled out a gun and shot the current boyfriend.

The ex-boyfriend then shot himself in the head and died at the scene.

The other man is at Harborview with life threatening injuries.

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. The Sheriff’s Office contracts with the City of SeaTac for police services.
