ELECTION RESULTS 2: It’s still Campbell vs. Wachtel; Hill vs. Pollock


The second round of results for Tuesday’s (Aug. 1) Primary Election have been released, and with 17.83% of the votes counted, standings for the SeaTac City Council race remain the same.

The top two vote-getters for each non-partisan seat will move onto the Nov. 7 General Election.

NOTES:

  • Shaunie Wheeler moved up by four votes for Position No. 4.
  • Since Pam Fernald is running unopposed, she automatically moves onto the General Election for Position No. 6.

Council Position No. 2:

  • Kathryn Campbell*: 979 • 44.58 %
  • Joel Wachtel: 852 • 38.80 %
  • Terry L. Farden: 355 • 16.17 %
  • Write-in: 10 • 0.46 %

Council Position No. 4:

  • Clyde (Fuzz) Hill: 873 • 39.29 %
  • Pam Pollock: 703 • 31.64 %
  • Shaunie Wheeler: 630 • 28.35 %
  • Write-in 16 • 0.72 %

    So far so good. Say goodbye to Special Interest Shaunie. Either of the other two candidates would do a great job on the council.

    As the the other race, Joel Wachtel should be able to beat Caustic Kathryn in the general election.

    Hope your right Jack and it would be nice if the people stealing the signs of the one’s that are still in the race would pick up Shaunie’s also
