It’ll be Campbell vs. Wachtel, Hill vs. Pollock & Fernald in Nov. 7 election


On Tuesday (Aug. 15), King County Elections released its final, certified election results for the Aug. 1 Primary Election, so now we know the finalists for the SeaTac City Council in the General Election.

The top two vote-getters – five candidates in total – will face off for three open seats, with the voting deadline of Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Council Position No. 2:

  • Kathryn Campbell*: 1,268 • 43.92 %
  • Joel Wachtel: 1,119 • 38.76 %
  • Terry L. Farden: 487 • 16.87 %
  • Write-in: 13 • 0.45 %

Council Position No. 4:

  • Clyde (Fuzz) Hill: 1,143 • 39.10 %
  • Pam Pollock: 903 • 30.89 %
  • Shaunie Wheeler: 862 • 29.49 %
  • Write-in: 15 • 0.51 %

Council Position No. 6:

  • Pam Fernald* (no opponent)
