PHOTOS: ‘Touch-A-Truck’ please kids both small and big in SeaTac

Story & Photos by Pam Fernald

The weather was perfect on Saturday, Sept. 9, and SeaTac’s ‘Touch-A-Truck’ event was well attended by the community.

This ‘kid’ enjoyed it!

There was face painting and slurpees.

The kids loved horn honking (the air horn was a killer) but on this day it seemed the fire trucks and police vehicles were the most popular.

Photos of Guardian One with its infrared camera, the SWAT Unit wagon, ladder truck 46, Street Sweeper, Vactor truck, park maintenance vehicles…oh and the firemen were setting up a Highline, which they use for rescue over deep ravines and rivers and such.

These are the machines that keep our city running and our citizens safe…
