Tuesday night will be the (new) SeaTac City Council’s first meeting of the year 


This Tuesday evening (Jan. 9), the SeaTac City Council meeting at 7 p.m. will include the traditional swearing-in of two new Councilmembers (Joel Wachtel and Clyde Hill) as well as reelected (Pam Fernald) ones.

All three were officially sworn-in during a brief cere-mony in late December.

In addition, the newly formed Council will select the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to serve for the next two years.

A brief break in the Council Meeting will provide for the traditional congratulations and welcome celebration, before they return to the dais complete the regular agenda.
