HELP NEEDED: Volunteers still needed for Back to School Resource Fair

Volunteers for the Back to School Resource Fair are still needed!

Tuesday, Aug. 14 is the day when most volunteers are needed.

“The more hands we have, the less time it will take!”

WHERE: Warehouse is at 20413 59th Place S., Kent, WA 98032, (SE Corner of Bldg., park to the south of the warehouse)
There is no identifying name sign on the warehouse that we know of at this point.


  • Saturday, August 11: Set up for Backpack Fill, 9 am-2 pm, 5-10 people needed. Still need 4-5 people, especially if you are able lift some large, heavy boxes off of pallets. Bring water and snacks for yourself. Wear light comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.
  • Tuesday, August 14: Backpack Fill, 10:45 am – 2 pm (Orientation at 11 am). 40 people needed. Bring water and snacks for yourself. Wear light comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.
  • Thursday, August 16: EVENT DAY at Valley Ridge Park, 4644 S 188th St, SeaTac, WA 98188 9:30 am-2 pm  Check in at Registration Table for assignments and orientation. (Event is from 10 am-2 pm.) 20 people needed for Registration, 30 people needed for Backpack Distribution. Wear light, comfortable, non-revealing clothing and tennis shoes. Sunscreen and sunglasses also recommended. Bring water and snacks for yourself. Hot dogs and fixings will be provided by the Rotary Club as well for all attendees.
