City Council public hearing for sale of property to Sound Transit is Tues., Dec. 11

The City of SeaTac City Council will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at 6 p.m. at SeaTac City Hall regarding the sale and transfer of real property between the City of SeaTac and the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit).

All interested parties are invited to attend and make comment on this proposed transfer.

Per the request of Sound Transit, it is proposed that the City of SeaTac surplus and transfer ownership of King County Assessor’s parcel number #5083000070, located in the 21200 block of 30th Ave South (map below), to Sound Transit. This parcel has been identified by Sound Transit as required real estate for the Federal Way Link Extension Project and will be used for this purpose.

The subject parcel has been examined and reviewed by impartial, qualified real estate appraisers and Sound Transit has offered to purchase the property for $90,000.
