DESCRIPTION:A Spring paint recycling event (and many other hard-to-recycle items) will be held on Sunday\, May 19\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at S. 136th Street between Des Moines Memorial Drive and S. 136th Street. \nDon’t let old paint\, expired batteries\, faulty appliances\, electronics\, cardboard\, toilets\, sinks\, and many more items take up space. \nGreenSheen Eco-Friendly Paint has teamed up with the city of SeaTac and several other companies to offer you comprehensive recycling solutions. \nThe event will be at S. 136th St. between Des Moines Memorial Drive and 2000 S 136th St.\, SeaTac\, WA 98168. Entrance is off of DMMD. \nNo vehicles may enter after 3 p.m. DO NOT line up before 8:30 a.m. \nItems accepted include paint\, stain and varnish (any amounts); Batteries (please sort larges quantities by type); Oil\, oil filters and antifreeze; Propane Tanks; Tires (limit 10 per vehicle); Electronics (no vacuum cleaners); Cardboard (please flatten); Toilets and Porcelain Sinks; Appliances and scrap metal (remove all gases\, fluids\, or liquids from all items. No car bodies. No items with chemicals.) \nConfidential Material Shredding (limit 3 boxes per vehicle). \nNO Yard debris or commercial loads. \nVendors at the event reserve the right to reject any items that do not meet their requirements. \nOther accepted Items: \n\nBatteries\nTires\nPaint\, stain\, and varnish\nElectronics\nOil\, oil filters\, antifreeze\, propane tanks\nConfidential material shredding\nCardboard\nAppliances and scrap metal\nToilets and porcelain sinks\n\nNot accepted: \n\nYard debris\nCommercial loads\nVacuum cleaners\nGas or brake fluid\nCar bodies\nHazardous waste\, solvents\nSpray paint\, drywall mud\, auto or marine paint\n\nFor all events\, we ask that attendees stay in their cars. Event staff will direct you to drop-off lanes where we will unload everything for you.
