DESCRIPTION:The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) – which contracts police services to the City of SeaTac – will unveil its new countywide ‘Gift Cards for Guns’ program at the Burien Precinct on Saturday\, April 1\, 2023. \nThis will be drive-through event that will run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \nGun owners can anonymously trade-in their firearms for Visa/Mastercard gift cards worth up to $300. \nThe program\, which is funded by a $100\,000 allotment granted by the King County Council in July 2022\, aims to reduce the number of guns in circulation and promote public health and safety. \nKCSO’s inaugural event will be hosted at the Southwest Precinct. It’s all about beer\, cider\, hard seltzer and offerings from two distilleries! Enjoy fresh ingredients and crisp\, bold flavors that will tempt the taste buds. \nThe Cider & Ale Trail will showcase an outstanding lineup of brewers and even a distillery.
