All lanes on northbound SR 99 will close overnight Sunday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 15, between South 216th and 208th streets in SeaTac for an ongoing pavement repair project.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close all northbound SR 99 lanes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. both nights for asphalt paving and grinding.

Single- and double-lane closures also will continue on both directions of SR 99 between South 200th and SR 516 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Saturday, July 12, until Friday morning, July 18.

People traveling through the area should plan for delays, temporary traffic shifts and short traffic stoppages while crews modify traffic patterns.

Signed detours using local streets will guide people around road closures.

This work is part of a project to repave 2 miles of SR 99 between South 200th Street and SR 516. WSDOT says this project will improve the driving surface and extend the life of the roadway.
