One man was killed and several others injured on Sunday afternoon, July 13, 2025, in a three-vehicle collision near the Museum of Flight on East Marginal Way South, according to the Tukwila Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash in the 9400 block of E. Marginal Way S. at approximately 3:30 p.m., where they found three vehicles involved in the collision.

Sadly, one adult male was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the deceased and the injured parties have not yet been released.

Several others were evaluated and treated at the scene for injuries. The severity of those injuries was not immediately disclosed.

Tukwila Police Traffic Unit detectives are investigating the cause of the crash. Puget Sound Fire units were also dispatched to the scene, including E353, E319, B352, and multiple medical and rescue units starting at 3:31 p.m.

The crash took place near the entrance to the Museum of Flight, an area that sees heavy traffic on weekends.

“An adult male in one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Tukwila Police said in a statement. “Several other involved parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision and were treated at the scene.”

The department said the road was closed for several hours while investigators documented the scene and cleared the wreckage.
