Families in SeaTac are invited to gear up for the upcoming school year at the annual SeaTac Back to School Resource Fair, happening Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Valley Ridge Community Center & Ball Field (map below).

This free event is made possible through the continued partnership of Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW), the City of SeaTac, Rotary Club of SeaTac-Tukwila, and Highline Public Schools.

SeaTac students and families will have access to:

  • Free backpacks and school supplies
  • Free lunch, including halal options
  • Community resources and services

Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is encouraged.

“This event is all about giving SeaTac students a confident, well-prepared start to the school year,” said Adriana Mendivil, LCSNW Director of Self-Sufficiency Services. “We’re grateful to our partners and community volunteers who make it happen year after year.”
