Explore Seattle Southside is celebrating global recognition this fall, earning finalist honors in both the 2025 Stella Awards and the City Nation Place Awards for its work in destination marketing, storytelling and industry leadership.

“This dual recognition reflects the dedication of our team and partners in elevating Seattle Southside as a world-class destination,” said Explore Seattle Southside CEO Mark Everton. “We’re honored to be included among the industry’s best and grateful for the support of our community.”

The Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority, which promotes the cities of SeaTac, Tukwila, Des Moines and surrounding areas, was named a finalist in the Best CVB/DMO category at the 2025 Stella Awards. Presented by Northstar Meetings Group, the awards honor organizations that deliver service, innovation and value to the meetings and events industry. Explore Seattle Southside is the only Pacific Northwest destination marketing organization represented in its geographic category.
