REMINDER: Normandy Park’s 13th annual Winterfest celebration will return this Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, bringing an evening of holiday cheer, live music, snow, and a visit from Santa Claus and Blitz, the Seahawks mascot.
The free community event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Normandy Park Towne Center (map below).
The festivities will include the city’s annual tree lighting ceremony, a scavenger hunt with prizes, crafts, complimentary Santa hats for attendees and much more.
Earlier in the day, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Santa will visit Manhattan Village QFC at 17847 1st Ave. S., where families can enjoy carolers and holiday arts and crafts.

- UPDATE: Seattle Seahawks mascot Blitz will make an appearance, and attendees can get a photo with Blitz or stop by to say hello between 5 – 7 p.m.
- 4 p.m.: Festival opens! DJ and The Dickens Carolers of Seattle perform.
- 4:15–4:45 pm: Cascadia Brass Band performs
- 4:45–4:55 p.m.: Seattle Thrillers – Christmas Dancers
- 4:55–5:20 p.m.: Marvista Elementary Choir
- 5:30 p.m.: 13th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony begins! Emcee is Stella Sun of KOMO TV.
- 5:40 p.m.: Santa’s motorcade arrives!
- 5:45–6:15 p.m.: St. Francis Choir
- 6:15–6:20 p.m.: Seattle Thrillers – Christmas dancers
- 6:20–6:45 p.m.: Momentum Irish Dancers
- 7 p.m.: Festival ends. See you in 2026!
PARKING: Overflow parking and a FREE shuttle bus is available at Marvista Elementary: 19800 Marine View Dr SW, Normandy Park, 98166 between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Winterfest is hosted by Friends of Normandy Park, and brings together residents and businesses to celebrate the holiday season.
