Les Schwab Tire Centers brought together thousands of donated toys this week at the accesso ShoWare Center, using the Kent arena as a central collection point for its 2025 holiday Toy Drive benefiting children and families across the Puget Sound region.
Stores from throughout Puget Sound transported toys they collected to the ShoWare Center on Monday, Dec. 15, where donations will be distributed to 11 nonprofit organizations, according to Les Schwab.
Benefiting charities include the Salvation Army, Christmas House, Toys for Tots, Toys for Kids, the Forgotten Children’s Fund and other local organizations serving children in need.
The Toy Drive draws contributions from Les Schwab stores across the region and relies on large scale coordination to ensure donations reach charities ahead of the holiday season.
Last year, more than 50,000 toys were donated through the Les Schwab Toy Drive. Organizers said it is too early to determine how many toys have been collected so far this year.
Additional donations were generated through community partnerships, including toy drives held during two Seattle Thunderbirds games. Fans attending those games donated more than 800 toys to support the effort, according to Les Schwab.
