The City of SeaTac Parks and Recreation Department is inviting residents to help shape the future of the city’s parks, recreation programs and open spaces during a community meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 25.

City officials said the meeting will gather public input as SeaTac updates its Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan, which will guide future recreation programs, park improvements, trails and other amenities throughout the city.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the SeaTac Community Center (map below).

According to the city, the Mar. 25 gathering will be the first of three planned community meetings designed to collect feedback from residents about priorities for the city’s park system.

Organizers said the event will include activities for children and light snacks for attendees.

City officials encourage SeaTac residents to attend and share their ideas as the plan is developed.
