Lutheran Community Services Northwest, in partnership with the City of SeaTac, the Rotary Club, and with support from the Highline School District, will be holding a community focused Back to School Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024.
The event will be held at the LCSNW office (map below) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This annual event aims to ensure that every student in SeaTac is prepared and confident for the upcoming school year.
The fair will provide essential school supplies, backpacks, food, clothing, and various community-provided resources to students from SeaTac schools.
“This event is about more than just supplies, it’s about building a sense of community and ensuring our students feel ready and excited for the new school year. Also, we understand the stress many parents are facing in today’s economy, and we want to alleviate some of that worry.” said Adriana Mendívil, Director at Lutheran Community Services Northwest.
This are event is meant to serve students enrolled in Valley View, Bow Lake, Madrona, McMicken Heights, Chinook, Glacier, and Tyee schools.
