SeaTac’s ‘State of the City’ will be Wednesday, May 7 at SeaTac Community Center

Residents are invited to attend the 2025 SeaTac ‘State of the City’ event on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the SeaTac Community Center, where Mayor Mohamed Egal will present updates on city projects, achievements and goals for the year ahead.

Here’s the agenda:

• 5–6 p.m.: The evening will begin with an opening reception featuring live music and light refreshments in the community center’s banquet room.
• 6–6:15 p.m.: Mayor Egal’s State of the City presentation will follow, highlighting key accomplishments from the past year, current priorities, and what residents can expect in 2026.
• 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with elected officials and city staff at discussion tables. Councilmembers will be seated throughout the room to facilitate small group conversations and answer community questions.

“This is your chance to engage with your neighbors, ask questions, and be a part of shaping the direction of SeaTac,” organizers said.
