Spring Recycling Event will be Sunday, May 19

May 19 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

A Spring paint recycling event (and many other hard-to-recycle items) will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at S. 136th Street between Des Moines Memorial Drive and S. 136th Street.

Don’t let old paint, expired batteries, faulty appliances, electronics, cardboard, toilets, sinks, and many more items take up space.

GreenSheen Eco-Friendly Paint has teamed up with the city of SeaTac and several other companies to offer you comprehensive recycling solutions.

The event will be at S. 136th St. between Des Moines Memorial Drive and 2000 S 136th St., SeaTac, WA 98168. Entrance is off of DMMD.

No vehicles may enter after 3 p.m. DO NOT line up before 8:30 a.m.

Items accepted include paint, stain and varnish (any amounts); Batteries (please sort larges quantities by type); Oil, oil filters and antifreeze; Propane Tanks; Tires (limit 10 per vehicle); Electronics (no vacuum cleaners); Cardboard (please flatten); Toilets and Porcelain Sinks; Appliances and scrap metal (remove all gases, fluids, or liquids from all items. No car bodies. No items with chemicals.)

Confidential Material Shredding (limit 3 boxes per vehicle).

NO Yard debris or commercial loads.

Vendors at the event reserve the right to reject any items that do not meet their requirements.

  • Spray paint, drywall mud, auto or marine paint

For all events, we ask that attendees stay in their cars. Event staff will direct you to drop-off lanes where we will unload everything for you. This ensures a safe and efficient process.
