A semi-truck rollover crash closed all lanes from South 188th Street to SR 509 in SeaTac Wednesday morning, Sept. 10, 2025, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

The crash – on the right shoulder of the recently re-done entry lanes to northbound SR 509 – prompted a hazardous materials response, and drivers were advised to avoid the area until further notice.

The 911 dispatch call came in at 9:00 a.m.

Crews were on scene to contain the spill and clear the wreckage.

Officials did not immediately release details about injuries or what the hazardous cargo was.

This collision was cleared in the late afternoon, and all lanes were re-opened.

WSDOT advised drivers to plan alternate routes while the closure was in effect.
