Demolition is underway at SeaTac’s Bull Pen site, where the city plans to open a free outdoor community gathering space near Angle Lake Station as part of its FIFA World Cup 2026 preparations.

As we previously reported, the site, located at 2825 S. 200th Street at International Boulevard, is adjacent to the Angle Lake Link light rail station and was recently acquired by the city.

The city said the old pub property will be transformed in partnership with Métier Brewing Company and the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce.

The activation is expected to open in June and feature food and drinks from Métier Brewing, live entertainment, community programming and a place to gather during World Cup events. The city says the site will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with hours planned from about 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Capacity is expected to be about 180 people.

The Bull Pen site is one of three SeaTac activation sites planned around the World Cup, which begins June 15 in the Seattle region. SeaTac officials say the sites are intended to offer free programming, food, entertainment and gathering places for residents and visitors.
