A juvenile was shot in the leg during an incident involving a group of teenagers Wednesday afternoon at North SeaTac Park, according to the SeaTac Police Department/King County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said it appears a firearm was discharged during the incident, striking the juvenile.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, but their condition has not been released.
Officers, including a K-9 unit, remained at the park as the investigation continued, police said. A portion of the park near the parking lot was cordoned off to support the investigation.
North SeaTac Park remained open, and police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
