SeaTac Councilmember Stanley Tombs was sworn in for the second time at the regular SeaTac City Council meeting on Tuesday night, June 23, 2020.

This time he virtually rejoined the Council via Zoom as a replacement for former Councilmember Joel Wachtel, who resigned from Council and moved to Tampa, Fla.

Tombs’ previous stint on the Council was to replace Councilmember Amina Ahmed, who was killed tragically in a traffic accident.

In other action, the Council approved a proclamation declaring June as LGBTQ Pride Month, which urges residents of SeaTac to celebrate diversity and promotes equality for the LGBTQ community.

A key to the city was presented by Mayor Sitterley to retiring Community and Economic Development Director Steve Pilcher.
