Major crimes detectives with the King County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the community’s help identifying a suspect wanted in an unprovoked, senseless Thanksgiving-day stabbing aboard a Metro bus:

Police say that the victim in the case is a vulnerable adult likely experiencing a behavioral health crisis. With almost no warning, the suspect approaches and repeatedly stabs him.

The suspect, pictured below, boarded the Metro coach at the Federal Way Transit Center then traveled to Tukwila. Surveillance cameras capture him re-boarding a southbound coach to SeaTac in the moments before this 5:20 a.m., holiday attack.

Please note the suspect’s unique, forward-facing gray messenger bag, blue-patterned face covering and distinct shoes featuring a pink Nike logo.
