The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO) this week filed three separate cases of Attempted Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor after a sting operation conducted last week by SeaTac Police, Homeland Security Investigations, Bellevue Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Three men were arrested in connection with the charges, including a 42-year-old, a 60-year-old and a 50-year-old.
All were charged after undercover police officers posed as teenage girls and engaged with the men online, then lured them to a SeaTac hotel where police arrested them.
Additional cases remain under investigation, and the KCPAO will act on those if/when they are referred to them.
What I would like to know is whether they were on an adult site, luring in men who were on there looking for adult companions. Most of these stings are handled that way instead of the police getting on sites where children actually congregate to try to find the real predators. They do some back and forth sexual banter to hook the men and then do a bait and switch in order to arrest them. There is alot of Federal money that is given to these police departments to arrest “predators”. And there are alot of these stings going on all over the country, that entrap men who had no intentions of meeting a minor. And of course, they never get a chance to see the person and change their mind because they really are minors. All they have to do is pull up in the parking lot and they are arrested and their lives destroyed forever.
What I want to know is why are we paying police officers to entrap men in adult chat rooms there are rules to these groups and yet officers are allowed to manipulate and lie to catch a predator!!! Police should be required to get a search warrant before going onto any dating apps. There is NO real victims here what is this really about? Growing the already out of controled Sex offender registry? Do we need funds so bad we’re willing to ensnare people by trap?
