Construction crews at Tyee High School in SeaTac are making strides on the new campus, with recent updates highlighting significant progress as key spaces begin to take shape.
Photos released by Highline Public Schools showcase the transformation underway, including a unique feature that connects the new facility to its roots: salvaged glu-lam beams from the original school are being repurposed as roof decking for the new library.
The new Tyee High School campus is designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities for students and staff, and construction remains on track. A detailed construction map is available, offering the public insight into the specific purposes of the evolving spaces, from classrooms to gathering areas.
“We are within budget and on schedule to welcome students in September 2025,” the district said.
