Highline Musical Theatre (HMT) is offering full-tuition scholarships for its fall classes, giving King County public school students the opportunity to participate in musical theatre education at no cost.

Made possible through a generous 4Culture Curiosity Pass grant, the scholarships cover the full cost of eligible fall classes in singing, dancing and acting. The only eligibility requirements are that the student be enrolled in a King County public school. Students who meet the eligibility requirement do not need to demonstrate financial need or provide income documentation.

“At Highline Musical Theatre, we believe every young person should have the chance to play, create and connect with one another” said Kathleen Edwards, Artistic Director of Highline Musical Theatre. “Right now, we are all having to make difficult financial choices every day, and we are so grateful that 4Culture is making it possible for families in King Country to say ‘yes!’ to the arts for their kids!”

No previous theatre experience is required. HMT’s classes are designed to help young performers build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of creating theatre in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Regular paid registration is also available for families who would like to pay tuition or who don’t meet the eligibility requirements. Offering both scholarship and paid enrollment options allows each family to choose what works best for them.
