The southbound I-5 off-ramp to South 188th Street and Orillia Road South will close for up to seven nights beginning Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, as a regional pavement repair project nears completion in SeaTac.
- People traveling through the area should expect nightly ramp closures from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.starting Wednesday, Feb. 19, through Friday morning, Feb. 21.
- The work will resume at the same times Monday, Feb. 24, and continue Monday through Thursday nights until construction is complete in early March.
- The work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
- A signed detour will continue on southbound I-5 and loop around at South 200th Street/Military Road. Drivers then can take the northbound I-5 off-ramp to South 188th Street/Orillia Road South.
- Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will install loops in the pavement to detect traffic.
