Tukwila Mayor Thomas McLeod will deliver his annual “State of the City” address on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, starting at 6 p.m. at the Foster High School Performing Arts Center.
This event is free and open to all residents, to reflect on the past year’s achievements and hear plans for Tukwila’s future.
“This is an opportunity to hear about what the City of Tukwila has accomplished in the past year and highlights about the vision for 2025,” Mayor McLeod said in a statement.
The event, held at the school campus (4242 South 144th Street; map below), will also feature informational tables hosted by city staff and community partners, offering residents a chance to learn more about city services and programs
Light refreshments will be served.
Mayor McLeod emphasized the importance of community engagement, adding:
“I am looking forward to this event and I hope you can join me.”
The city encourages all members of the public to attend.

- 5:30 p.m.: Doors Open
- 6:00 p.m.: Presentation by Mayor McLeod
- 7:00 p.m.: Reception
