A SeaTac single mother and her teenage son narrowly avoided harm Monday evening, March 31, 2025, when a barrage of gunfire tore through their home in what may have been a targeted shooting.
Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the shooting, including the family dog, who was also unharmed.
The shooting occurred around 7:35 p.m. Monday night at her SeaTac home.
A neighbor captured video of the shooting and reported seeing a masked young white male near the property shortly before the gunfire erupted. The footage has been turned over to police, and if we get access to it we’ll publish it.
The homeowner told South King Media that she discovered seven bullet holes in her home (see photos below). The shots penetrated the bedroom window — with three closely spaced holes just inches apart — and continued through the headboard, shower, and kitchen wall above the stove.
“This is absolutely random. I’m a single mom with a 16-year-old, and we have no known enemies,” she said. “It feels targeted based on the bullet pattern — but that’s just my gut.”
Police Seeking Public’s Help
SeaTac Police are actively investigating the case under Case ID: C25009951. Anyone with information is urged to call 206-296-3311.
The mother said she is seeking help from the community with repair costs and recommendations, adding that any support would be deeply appreciated.
