The City of SeaTac is inviting residents to help shape the future of a key area of the city at an upcoming Open House focused on early planning concepts for its SeaTac Central project.

The event is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at McMicken Heights Elementary (map below), where attendees can review initial ideas aimed at creating a more walkable, vibrant, and transit friendly district, according to the City of SeaTac.

City officials said the open house will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the SeaTac Central Plan, review early land use concepts, and share feedback on priorities for future growth.

Participants can drop in at any time during the event to interact with informational stations and connect directly with city staff.

The city is also offering interpretation and translation services for those who request assistance in advance.

Registration is not required, but residents are encouraged to RSVP through the city’s Eventbrite page here.
