A person was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries Sunday, June 21 after a fight involving several young men ended in a stabbing at Angle Lake Park in SeaTac, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and aid units responded to the park Sunday just before 6 p.m. after receiving reports of the altercation. By the time first responders arrived, the suspect or suspects had fled the area in a vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
The victim suffered a stabbing injury and was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Deputies said the injured person was less than cooperative with investigators at the scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, some witnesses indicated the injured party may have instigated the incident.
Angle Lake Park was temporarily closed to allow first responders to move vehicles in and out of the area during the emergency response.
The case remains an open and active investigation, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
