The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died in a July 19 shooting incident in SeaTac as Frank Huy Ho, 33.

Ho died from a gunshot wound of the head, and the manner of death was ruled suicide, according to medical examiner information.

As we previously reported, the incident occurred outdoors near South 192nd Street and 16th Ave South in SeaTac on Sunday night, July 19. This incident caused  a large police response near Sea-Tac Airport that continued into Monday morning, when the area was still closed for investigation.

It remains unclear how many officers fired their weapons during the incident.

At the time, the King County Sheriff’s Office described the case as a major incident, and police said the Valley Independent Investigation Team was handling the investigation, with Renton police serving as the primary agency, according to previous reporting.

Video from the scene showed the medical examiner arriving and working near a van, and KING 5 reported that a tow truck removed what appeared to be a black Tesla from the area.

Further details about the circumstances of the incident were not included in the medical examiner information provided.
