Drivers and residents in SeaTac may see FAA rescue training this week on a bridge structure over South 154th Street and SR 518, but city officials said there is no cause for concern.

The training is scheduled from 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, through 5 p.m. Thursday, July 30, on the Approach Lighting System bridge for Runway 16C, according to the City of SeaTac.

FAA staff will conduct rescue training on the bridge, which covers South 154th Street and SR 518 (map below). People in the area may see dummies or staff rappelling from the structure as part of a simulated rescue scenario, the city said.

The bridge is owned and maintained by the FAA.
