The City of SeaTac is seeking volunteers to serve on the Pro and Con Committees for Proposition No. 1, the Public Safety Sales and Use Tax on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot, with the deadline to apply set for 8 a.m. Tuesday, August. 4.

These committees write the statements that appear in the King County Voters’ Pamphlet.

What to Know:

  • Each committee has up to three members
  • You must be a SeaTac resident
  • Statements are 200 words, rebuttals 75 words, due early August

How to Sign Up:

Send a brief letter of interest stating whether you wish to advocate FOR or AGAINST Proposition No. 1 to the City Clerk at cityclerk@seatacwa.gov, or hand deliver to SeaTac City Hall, 4800 S 188th Street.

Time is short – submissions must be in by 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. If you are interested, please email ASAP.
