The City of SeaTac is asking residents and community members to weigh in on a preferred planning scenario for the future of SeaTac Central, with survey responses due before Aug. 17.

The city said community feedback helped identify “Global Green” as the preferred scenario for the district.

“Global Green builds on community priorities and focuses on making it easier to walk, bike, and access transit throughout the district,” the city said in a statement.

The city is encouraging people to complete an online survey and share their thoughts on the proposal.

The planning effort could affect how people move through and access the central SeaTac district, with potential relevance for residents, workers and visitors.

The survey is available online through the city’s Speak Up SeaTac website here.
