The City of SeaTac is seeking residents to fill advisory committee vacancies:

Make a difference in SeaTac! Join the City in supporting your community while gaining a better understanding of City programs, projects, and priorities. Serving on a Citizen Advisory Committee is a great way to share your ideas, connect with your community, and help shape the future of SeaTac.

Citizen Advisory Committee Vacancies

    • Arts, Culture and Library Advisory Committee (ACLAC), including a youth position. This advisory committee works closely with the Parks and Recreation staff, local schools, Valley View Library as well as local art and cultural related organizations.
    • Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC). The Community Services Advisory Committee is integral to the City. This group helps connect residents with volunteer opportunities and advising the City on actions which may affect the accessibility or quality of community services available to residents.
    • Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee (HMAC). One person representing a business required to collect the tax. This committee assists the City Council in Hotel/Motel industry-related decision making and funding.
    • Senior Citizen Advisory Committee (SCAC). This committee advises the City Council and provides input through the City Manager about problems seniors are facing in the City. They help provide increased opportunities for community involvement and help brainstorm ideas for senior programming.

The City is always accepting applications for all citizen advisory committees. Applications will be held for one year from the date of submittal and will be considered if a vacancy opens during that period.
