A South King County nonprofit will showcase cultural diversity through music at two upcoming free performances in SeaTac.

iBuildBridges will present “American Soil” and “Weird Summer” on Oct. 18 and Oct. 25 at The Roadhouse at Angle Lake Station.

The concerts will feature eight young musicians from a variety of backgrounds collaborating to create new work.

“American Soil” is described by organizers as an original composition tracing America’s musical journey, weaving together Indigenous roots, gospel, Mexican folk, Hawaiian melodies and New Orleans jazz.

The performance will also include the debut of “Weird Summer,” a collaborative piece developed by the iBuildBridges artists.

“These events celebrate the diversity of our community by building bridges through music,” iBuildBridges said in its event announcement.

The concerts will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. both evenings at 19955 28th Ave. S in SeaTac (map below).

Admission is FREE, and all ages are welcome.
