La Posada

Saturday, Dec. 13, 5 – 8 p.m. Highline Heritage Museum, 819 SW 152 Street. This free event highlights a rich Mexican cultural holiday tradition with lotería, arts and crafts, piñatas, and fun for the whole family. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to join the celebration, which is designed to foster cultural understanding and community connection.

Chanukah Celebration

Sunday, Dec. 14, 4:30 p.m. Highline Heritage Museum, 819 SW 152 Street. Celebrate and learn about Chanukah’s traditions, the Festival of Lights. This free event includes a Grand Menorah lighting, lively music, Latkes & doughnuts. It is co-presented by Chabad of Burien/ Federal Way.

Kwanzaa Workshop

Friday, Dec. 19, 2-4 p.m. Highline Heritage Museum, 819 SW 152 Street. Learn about this holiday whose origins were inspired by African harvest festivals, centering both gratitude and empowerment.
