A person was taken to a Seattle area hospital after responders searched Angle Lake in SeaTac Tuesday, Sept. 1 and found a victim following a report of a drowning at Angle Lake Park, according to Puget Sound Fire.

Puget Sound Fire and the SeaTac Police Department responded to the report.

Crews searched the lake and found the victim, according to Puget Sound Fire.

The patient had been underwater for about 17 minutes, officials said.

Puget Sound Fire firefighters and paramedics from King County Medic One provided lifesaving medical assistance at the scene.

The patient was transported to a Seattle area hospital by King County Medic One and Puget Sound Fire firefighters, according to Puget Sound Fire.
